Dr. Richard Wexler
After researching the chiropractic profession, I came to the realization that chiropractic care is holistic in nature. In other words, it affects our entire system. Our nervous system connects our brain and spinal cord through the nerves to cause all our organs, muscles, and glands to function properly. If there is nerve interference at any level, the target organ, muscle or gland can be affected. As chiropractors, we manipulate (move) the vertebral (spinal) bones to remove pressure on these nerves. When the pressure is removed, pain and dysfunction can be alleviated.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Continuing my education, I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. I opened my practice in 1986 and have continued at the same location to this date. After practicing for ten years, I continued my education and received a post-graduate degree in Orthopedics in 1997 from National College of Chiropractic.
My goals and intentions for this practice are to keep my patients healthy and pain-free. I also want my patients to understand how to maintain their health. Therefore, we have weekly seminars for all new patients to educate them on diet, exercise, and the six facets of a healthy lifestyle. Within my twenty years of practice, many of my patients have come to me as a last resort. I can't tell you how many times I've heard, "I should have come here first!"
Being in the community for over twenty years, we have formed relationships in industries as well as town municipalities. We have held health fairs, lectures, and trainings to promote the benefits of chiropractic care, general health, and ergonomics. Please view some of the services that we offer.
My wife Nancy and I have four great children, and we live in the MetroWest area. We are very family oriented, love our home life, and community. I am very dedicated to this practice and my patients, and I look forward to helping you.

"I have been coming to Dr. Wexler for many years. Previous to coming, I was told by an orthopedic specialist that I would be in a wheel chair within 5 years. Dr. Wexler told me that if I received chiropractic treatment, I wouldn't end up in a wheel chair. It has been 15 years since and I am not in a wheel chair!"
